The Island County Administrator is an appointed official responsible for carrying out the policies and goals established by the Board of Island County Commissioners.

Responsible for planning and coordinating actions for the preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery from natural and man-made emergencies and disasters.

District Court
District Court resolves and adjudicates infractions, criminal traffic, and criminal non-traffic violations. It also processes small claims, civil actions, name changes, anti-harassment orders, and domestic violence protection orders.

Prosecuting Attorney
The Island County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office meets statutory and constitutional duties to the citizens of Island County and the State of Washington. This includes vigorously, justly and efficiently prosecuting those who commit crimes in Island County; providing excellent legal advice and services to the governing bodies and elected officials of Island County; advocating for the continuous improvement of the justice system, and; setting the standard for the highest level of professionalism and ethics for the practice of law in Island County
