Camano Island locations to purchase Island County Dog License Tags

If you are located within the city limits of Oak Harbor, Coupeville, or Langley, please contact the city directly to purchase your dog license, as they administer their own programs. 

Island County annual dog licenses may be ordered by mail as a courtesy of the Island County Treasurer’s Office. Mail your license fee to the address below and include the following items. All items must be included or your license will not be processed. 

1) A brief letter that includes the following information:

For the owner:

Name, Address (Street & Mailing), Telephone number

For the dog being licensed:

• Name
• Age
• Gender
• Veternarian Name
• Has the dog been altered/neutered?
• Rabies Information
• Breed of dog
• Color and special markings
• If this is a replacement for a lost tag, please indicate the original tag #

2) A self-addressed stamped envelope.

3) Dog License Fee (Available Here) plus $3.50 for processing and handling.

IF YOU HAVE A GUIDE DOG:

Island County provides a special lifetime license tag for guide dogs under ICC 6.08.040.  Application must be made in person at the Treasurer's Office in Coupeville or at the Camano Administration Building.
