Community Surveys Are Closed. Data Coming Soon...
The Island County Child Care Partnership Task Force wants to better understand our community's child care needs. We asked parents/guardians, future parents, and providers about their experiences with child care and to share their insights about what they need. Our plan is to utilize this data in an effort to improve child care services in Island County.
Finding the "why" and envisioning the future
Identify the needs of the community while recommending strategies to help expand high quality, accessible, and equitable child care for Island County families.
We envision a resilient community that supports the well being of all families, children, and early childhood professionals in Island County. This will include accessible child care and early education opportunities for all families, as well as a livable wage and opportunities for growth for early childhood professionals. Achieving this vision will require a dedication to equity through cultural and racial awareness, which ensures everyone has equal access and a voice.
