If you are preparing low-risk baked foods, granolas, nut mixes, jams, jellies, preserves, dry herbs, seasonings, and vinegars to sell in a Farmers Market, this information applies to you. To participate in any Farmers Market in Island County a Farmers Market Food Vendor Application is required. In addition, a copy of an Island County Food Service Establishment (Form A) or a Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA) Cottage Food Operation Permit is required.

You need to apply for an Island County Food Service Establishment Permit (Form A).

Please do not wait until Market Season time to apply for a permit. No vendor will be allowed to sell at the Farmers Markets without one of the appropriate
approved permits attached to the Farmers Market Food Vendor Application.
