School Based Behavioral Health Services

Our mission is to provide dynamic, creative and innovative behavioral health services in the school setting.

Our school based behavioral health counselors work in all four school districts of Island County; Oak Harbor, Coupeville, South Whidbey and Camano/Stanwood. We also serve students in the detention center.

  • Bullying 
  • Suicide prevention 
  • Grief 
  • Relationship difficulties 
  • Emotional upset 
  • Gender and sexuality 
  • Behavior challenges

School based behavioral health counselors address these concerns through a variety of modalities. 

These include:

  • Individual, group and family counseling 
  • Mediation 
  • Crisis intervention 
  • Parent support groups and classes 
  • Staff consultation
