Island County Considering Planning Projects for 2018

  • Island County has begun discussion of potential Planning projects for consideration in 2018, including one application from the public for an expansion of the Oak Harbor UGA (Wright's Crossing, CPA 252/17).

  • C-73-17, signed by the Board of Island County Commissioners 7/11/17 adopting amended Countywide Planning Policies (CWPPs) for the purpose of coordinating the GMA planning activities of the governments of Island County.
  • C-67-17signed by the Board of Island County Commissioners 6/13/17 detailing the County's substantial progress towards fullfillment of the requirements of the state mandated periodic update of the Critical Areas Ordinance.
  • C-49-17, signed by the Board of Island County Commissioners 5/23/17 amending Chapter 16.26 relating to the Island County Code to update the Comprehensive Plan Annual Docket Process    
  • C-12-17, signed by the Board of Island County Commissioners 2/7/17, regarding amending Island County Code to address Code clean-up items identified as part of an effort undertaken to improve County Code.
