Island County Notice of SEPA Determination

Island County has issued a Determination of Non-Significance (DNS) in accordance with the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) for Amendments to the Island County Comprehensive Plan TO AMEND OAK HARBOR'S URBAN GROWTH AREA TO INLCUDE PARCEL R13327-198-19800 AND TO DESIGNATE PARCEL PRIORITY GROWTH AREA. The amendment is proposed to facilitate the extension of water to the subject site to address a public health emergency.

THE GROWTH MANAGEMENT ACT

On June 25, 2019, the Board of Island County Commissioners, through Ordinance

C-53-19 [PLG-005-19], adopted the Planning Commission's recommendation to consolidate land uses from various sections of 17.03 ICC into a three consolidated land use tables, now provided for in section 17.035 ICC.
