Island County Notice of SEPA Determination

Island County has issued a Determination of Non-Significance (DNS) in accordance with the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) for Amendments to Chapter 17.03 of Island County Code related to Wineries, Cideries, Breweries, and Distilleries that will address appropriate uses in the rural area and introduce new regulations.  Proposed regulations are consistent with the Island County Comprehensive Plan in accordance with RCW 36.70.545. 

Threshold Determination:

Island County has determined that this non-project proposal does not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment. An environmental impact statement (EIS) is not required under RCW 43.21C.030(2)(c). This decision was made after review of a completed environmental checklist and other information on file with Island County.

Island County Notice of SEPA Determination

Island County has issued a Determination of Non-Significance (DNS) in accordance with the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) for Amendments to Chapter 17.03 of Island County Code related to Wineries, Cideries, Breweries, and Distilleries that will address appropriate uses in the rural area and introduce new regulations.  Proposed regulations are consistent with the Island County Comprehensive Plan in accordance with RCW 36.70.545. 

Threshold Determination:

Island County has determined that this non-project proposal does not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment. An environmental impact statement (EIS) is not required under RCW 43.21C.030(2)(c). This decision was made after review of a completed environmental checklist and other information on file with Island County.
