Land Use Permits

** ADDITIONAL SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS**

Submittals for Land Use Applications must be accompanied with an electronic copy please see Memorandum for details and exceptions.  click here for details

Land Use Applications must be submitted in person, by appointment ONLY
Please call (360) 678-7800 to schedule.
Plan for at least 60 minutes in the office when turning in an application.

A property owner may authorize an agent to submit applications and obtain permits on their behalf by first filling out an APPLICATION AUTHORIZATION FORM, located with the applications below. 

 

NEW - Lot Combinations:

Planning & Community Development Department is now the lead department for review of Lot Combination applications.  Applications should be submitted at the front counter of Planning & Community Development.  When accepted as complete, the applications will be routed to the Island County Assessor's Department for review and comment.  Once approved by Planning & Community Development, the stamped/approved application and map must be recorded at the office of the Island County Auditor.  For questions about the review process please contact Planning Technician Cindy White at (360) 678-7818 or Permit Manager Kelly Whitney at (360) 678-7820.
