On March 24, 2020, Governor Jay Inslee issued Proclamation 20-28 temporarily suspending certain provisions of the Public Records Act through midnight, April 23, 2020.
• The requirement that agencies respond to PRA requests within 5 business days is suspended. Responses to requests for records may be delayed. If you have previously scheduled an onsite visit, the department’s records officer will be contacting you with other options.
