Heidi Beck has worked for the past seven years for the Washington State Health Care Authority (Apple Health) as a regional person located on Whidbey Island. She understands how difficult the Medicaid system can be to understand and navigate and is able to help people within Washington state and specifically Island and San Juan counties. Previously, she worked helping people with disabilities gain employment and has been a foster parent.
Beck currently serves as co-lead for the HCA Pride Employee Resource Group, helping to further diversity, equity and inclusion within her orbit. Beck said she would like to make navigating the Medicaid world easier for clients.
