Water Quality

Groundwater should be regularly tested to ensure it is safe to drink.  Drinking water may become contaminated by germs and chemicals in the aquifer, at the well, and while traveling through pipes to the tap.  Some contaminants can make people sick, and some contaminants have little to no health risk but may make drinking water unappetizing, cause plumbing issues, or indicate seawater intrusion.  As conditions can change over time, regular testing is needed.
