Public Health
About
The public health department plays a vital role in promoting the health and well-being of our communities. We protect and improve environmental health by monitoring and regulating key factors, like solid waste, sewage disposal systems, and water quality. We engage in natural resource stewardship, working to preserve and enhance ecosystems and biodiversity through conservation programs. The department prioritizes community health through outreach services and communicable disease control, focusing on prevention. Our teams also conduct comprehensive assessment activities to improve community decision-making and guide program direction.
Mission Statement
