Apple Health Expansion enrollment opens at 8 AM. June 20 and is expected to fill quickly. It is a new program designed to provide health care coverage to people 19 or older who do not qualify for other Apple Health programs based on immigration status. You may be eligible if you:
- Are a Washington resident aged 19 or older;
- Have countable income under 138 percent of the federal poverty level;
- Do not qualify for other Apple Health programs based on immigration status;
- Immigrants who have not met the five-year waiting period to become eligible for Apple Health are not eligible for Apple Health Expansion.
- Are not pregnant or did not have a pregnancy end in the last 12 months; and,
- Are not eligible for qualified health plans (QHP) with advance premium tax credits (APTC) or federally funded medical assistance programs.

What is continuous eligibility?
Continuous eligibility means that you keep your coverage for a certain amount of time, regardless of changes in household income.
- For children, the length of continuous eligibility depends on age and program.
- Children under the age of six enrolled in Apple Health for Kids receive continuous eligibility through the end of their sixth birthday month.
- Children on Apple Health for Kids who are age six and older or those enrolled Apple Health for Kids with premiums, regardless of age, receive 12 months of continuous eligibility
