Community Involvement 

As Island County’s District and Municipal Court presiding judge it is my firm belief that we function as a community court.  We are public servants.  Beyond the regular functioning of a court, it is my hope that in the years to come we can forge a new civic and community connection.  As someone who has taught at University and Colleges, I have always enjoyed and place great weight in education.  

Towards this end, I would like to extend an open invitation to any community organization and educational program, to contact Island County District Court.  I am committed to fostering an understanding of the judicial branch of government.  I am available to speak or host education events at the courthouse.  If your organization is interested in opening a dialogue about your specific needs and working towards scheduling an event, please fill out the request for contact below.
